Communication with other users can happen through either chatting or mailing.
For longer messages or detailed conversations, mailing is the way to go. You can even attach up to 10 photos for free in each mail!
On Desktop: To send a mail, go to the user's profile and switch from "Chat" to "Mail" by clicking "Change to mail" above the chat window. If the user is offline, you'll only have the option to send a mail, as chatting is only available for online users.
If the user has already sent you a letter, you can reply using the "Mails" tab in the "My activity" section on the right side of the page. Incoming messages are found in the "Inbox" tab, where you can filter by Unread and Unanswered. Outgoing mails are in the "Outbox" tab, and any deleted correspondence is in the "Trash" tab.
On Mobile: To send a letter, visit the user's profile, click "Chat now," then switch to Mail by tapping "Go to mail" in the upper-right corner. Again, if the user is offline, you'll only have the option to send a mail.
If the user has already sent you a letter, respond using the "Mails" tab at the bottom of the page. Incoming messages are in the "Inbox" tab, where you can filter by Unread and Unanswered. Outgoing mails are in the "Outbox" tab, and any deleted correspondence is in the "Trash" tab.
